Hi, I’m Daan, a curious mind with a love for puzzles, people, and building things that make sense.

By day, I work as a software architect and developer. I enjoy diving into complex problems and shaping them into simple, lasting solutions. What I enjoy about architecture is that it forces you to really understand the world you’re building for, not just the code, but the people, the problems, and the context. Programming is how those ideas come to life.

Outside of work, you’ll often find me deep into a good story (on any medium), windsurfing or longboarding when the weather’s right, or just relaxing with friends. I also love to follow my curiosity wherever it leads. Whether that’s through a new project, a documentary rabbit hole, or one-too-many open tabs on Wikipedia.
